Dargah Sharif: Ajmer’s main draw is the Dargah Sharif. It is the Sufi Saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti shrine tomb which came from Persia here. One of India ‘s holiest Muslim shrines, the Dargah is also revered by Hindus. Tourists come here to see Dargah Sharif from afar and from here. The saint ‘s actual tomb is constructed in marble with a gold-plated dome, and is surrounded by a silver railing marble frame.
